Dear Community Members,

 Dear Community Members,

Happy March!

The Black Economic Society is proud to share our March 2026 Newsletter highlighting Black-owned businesses across North Carolina including Reidsville, Greensboro, High Point, Danville, and Charlotte. This month, we celebrate entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and the continued growth of businesses that strengthen our communities.

Reidsville, NC
We encourage you to support local restaurants, service providers, barbershops, retail stores, and professional services that continue to invest in our neighborhoods and create local jobs.

Greensboro & High Point, NC
The Triad area continues to be a strong hub for Black entrepreneurship — from soul food restaurants and bakeries to beauty brands, consultants, and creative agencies. Make it a goal this month to discover at least one new business and spread the word.

Danville, VA
Danville’s growing network of Black-owned retail shops, wellness brands, and community-focused entrepreneurs are making a powerful impact regionally. Your support helps these businesses expand and thrive.

Charlotte, NC
Charlotte remains one of the leading cities in the region for Black-owned restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, and professional services. From cultural hubs to family-owned eateries, there are countless opportunities to shop intentionally and invest locally.

Why It Matters

Supporting Black-owned businesses builds generational wealth, strengthens local economies, creates jobs, and promotes self-sufficiency. Every dollar spent locally circulates within the community and contributes to long-term economic growth.

How You Can Help
• Shop local at least once per week
• Share Black-owned businesses on social media
• Leave positive reviews online
• Refer friends and family
• Attend networking and community events

Let’s continue building economic power together in 2026 and beyond.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to uplifting our communities.

In unity and progress,

Black Economic Society
Building Wealth. Strengthening Community. Empowering Generations.
